Things to Consider with Online Reviews for Law Firms

We know that your law firm probably understands the importance of online reviews (Google and Facebook), yet there is often real difficulty in instructing clients on what they need to do to leave a positive review on Google for your firm.

It shouldn’t be too abstract, as we all do it when engaging other services or products. The rise of review platforms across nearly all industries are indicative of the trend towards peer influence.

While the reviews themselves are influential factors, Google does take this into consideration as a ranking factor in determining where your law firm should be located for various search terms.

However, when it comes to reviews, there is often real difficulty in instructing clients on what they need to do to leave a positive review on Google for your firm. Notwithstanding this, law firms often have difficulty asking for the review.

As a result of pressing the importance of reviews to our clients, we were notoriously met with the response that “our clients haven’t got a clue what we’re talking about.”

So, with that in mind, the Fast Firms team designed and developed our own law firm online review software that makes it super easy for clients to leave positive reviews. In fact, it worked that well for one of our clients, that upon deploying it for 1 week, they received 27 positive 5-star reviews and another firm, now has 53 reviews.
